[Communication and Packaging Design] Commercial for Sound Product Project

This was a group project for the minor course in Sound Design.

This is a sound product concept in which the the way we taste food is linked to different tunes of sounds accordingly to enhance our food preparing and eating experience.

This was based on our research that "sounds have a notable influence in how people taste food"

We demonstrated this emotional design concept through a video, in which the user whilst preparing food, in this case salad, literally listens to the ingredients she is putting together so they synthesize a harmonic tune in the end. The video features myself as the user, is edited together as a group.

Improving the first impressions of the OCEAN research lab

This third-year industrial design studio group project was to improve a research lab, OCEAN, which is a mobile facility in an RV where volunteers' brain waves are collected to be used for studies in brain, eventually leading to discovery of cure to some of the neurological diseases, such as addictions or even Alzeimer's diseases. However, OCEAN noted that it has difficultiesin gathering participants.
